They are full of promise and love (and mischief and sass). No one knows where their lives will take them and who they will choose for a life-long companion. That person could be of a different gender, and could be the same. I often pray for the now-little people that my own two girls will marry.
I'd like to make an open promise to all of them that I will dance happily at their wedding and shed tears of joy, no matter who they choose.
Today the Supreme Court made a step in the right direction--equal rights for all.
