Since it had been so long since my last real update, I thought I would update with a few pictures of the past year, starting with last May. A giant event was the birth of Madalana Lee King, Sophia's little sister and Andy and Erica's second daughter. My mom also had a hip replacement, which went really well, but I don't have a lot of pictures of that. We spent the summer going to Music on the Porch at Mordecai and Seaboard, going to the pool, and spending a lot of time outside. Sophia stayed with us while Erica was in the hospital, and the girls had a big time.

On the day of her actual birthday we opened presents and went to the zoo:
Then we went to the beach for a week in August with the Downtown Kings:
Then, just like that, it was time to start a new year at school. The girls switched schools this year to a place that is closer to home:
We are heading into the next summer, and I am particularly looking forward to more of the same from last summer. We are all counting down the days until the pool opens again and enjoying the first breath of spring.
